ExtraTxt - E-mail to SMS-Text Messaging
Example: Email-to-SMS
Using the power of ExtraTxt, it is possible to have e-mails relayed to your mobile phone as SMS text messages. This make it easy
for colleagues to contact you while you are on the road, or to have important email notifications routed to your mobile phone.
Sending an SMS - Text Message is as easy as sending an e-mail. Simply use the following syntax:
<mobile phone number>@<mail domain for sending SMS>
(ExtraTxt allows you to specify recipient mobile phone numbers in the mail subject. Please refer to the user guide for more details.)
In the example depicted above, the recipient mobile phone numbers are "+14158888001", "+14158888002", "+14158888003",
and the mail domain is "extratxt.mycompany.com". The e-mail subject and content will be converted into SMS - text message content.
Once the SMS - text message has been sent, the recipient’s mobile phone will receive the following message:
