Which GSM/GPRS modems can be used by ExtraFax to send and receive SMS messages?

For it to be used by ExtraFax, the GSM/GPRS modem or mobile phone MUST conforms to GSM standards that specify the AT-command interface. These include ETSI GSM 07.07, ETSI GSM 07.05, and others.
In particular, the following AT commands should be supported:
ATZ
ATE0
AT+CMEE=1
AT+CMGF=0
AT+CSMS?
AT+CSMS=1
AT+CMGS

Please refer to the corresponding standards for details of these AT-commands.
Please consult your GSM/GPRS modem or mobile phone vender for the AT-command set it supports.

In general, a modem is more preferable than a mobile phone.
